The Mitel 5240 IP Phone is an advanced IP device that leverages the power of the converged network to enable the enterprise user to improve efficiency at the desktop. The 5240 IP Phone is dual port with a 320 x 240 HTML display, enabling cursor-based access to features and applications enabled by Mitel Integrated Communications Platforms (ICPs). Some examples of these are Visual Voicemail, Integrated Call Logs, Web browsing, XML and PDA integration. (The 5140 IP Phone was awarded "Best in Test" by BCR magazine and Miercom in a recent review of IP Phones)


The 5240 IP Phone is targeted towards knowledge workers who require constant, real-time desktop access to advanced applications, services and information.

The Mitel 5240 IP Telephone is compatible with the Mitel Networks 3300 Intergrated Communications Platform (ICP), release 3.3 or higher and the Mitel Networks 3100 Intergrated Communications Platform (ICP), release 4 or higher.
The Mitel 5240 IP Telephone is not suitable for home use.
