The Polycom SoundStation IP6000 is an advanced IP conference phone system that delivers a superior performance for medium to small conference rooms. Ideal for use with a broad range of SIP-based VoIP platforms the SoundStation IP6000 features Polycom’s industry leading SIP software.
When purchased you can either buy the Polycom IP6000 with or without a power supply, if you buy it without then you will need power running through your ethernet network (POE).

Polycom HD Voice Technology
Using HD voice technology the conference call clarity is crystal clear and sounds as natural as a face to face conversation. It delivers high fidelity audio that ranges from 220 Hz to 14 kHz which will capture both the deeper lows and the higher frequencies of the human voice. If you are calling another phone that does not support HD voice that call will be in narrowband rather that wideband.

Expansion Mic Capabilites
A large 12 foot microphone pick up range makes the Polycom SoundStation IP6000 suitable for a medium sized conference room and the ability to add up to two extra microphones allows you to increase the coverage and insure a close proximity to everyone in the room, even around a large meeting room table.
A host of beneficial features add to its appeal. Automatic gain Control adjusts the microphone sensitivity based on where the participants are seating around the room.
Being fully duplex, all participants can speak at the same time without any clipped speech and added echo cancellation helps to keep the speech sounding crisp and clear. Another built in technology helps to eliminate interference from mobile phones and other wireless devices.

Alternative Connection Options
Fitted with a handy 2.5mm applications port the Polycom SoundStation IP6000 allows you to connect the conference phone to a mobile phone in instances where there is no network connection available. The application port also allows the alternative connection of the Polycom IP 6000 to a softphone via your computer.

Polycom High Resolution LCD
Featuring Polycom’s signature star design, the SoundStation IP6000 has a modern twist with a silver ring around the central speaker. A high resolution LCD display provides a range of vital call information, such as time and date and up to 200 names in the contact directory, it also offers multi-language support. There is a 12 key keypad and full telephone functionality enabling function like redial, mute speed dialing call waiting and call transferring to name a few.PSU can be purchased seperately if you do not have PoE on your network.
