The Siemens optiPoint 500 Advanced is a full duplex handsfree phone designed to provide rapid and easy access to your HiPathTM/Hicom® system and features. The three dialog keys when operated in conjunction with the display, provide an interactive user prompting system. The optiPoint 500 Advanced has a total of 19 programmable keys with LEDs to illuminate the functions that are active. Features can also be selected by scrolling on screen or directly by means of a code via the service key. A PC can be easily connected via the integrated USB 1.1 interface, and the CallBridge TU TAPI service provider allows you to set up telephone connections and run telephone applications on the PC. An innovative adapter concept for telephones allows uses to respond rapidly to specific workstation requirements. Additional devices (for example, fax devices, telephones, and headsets) can be directly connected to the telephones through the two adapter slots on the underside of the telephone.

The Siemens optiPoint 500 Advance phone has a headset port, so can have a GN Netcom headset connected with it using the GN Netcom Jabra Standard cord.
