The Mitel MiVoice 5312 IP Telephone is compatible with the Mitel Networks 3300 Intergrated Communications Platform (ICP), release 3.3 or higher. The Mitel MiVoice 5312 IP Telephone is not suitable for home use.
This is a Power Over Ethernet (PoE) enabled device and, as such, is sold without a PSU.
If you do not have PoE, you will need to purchase a separate Power Supply Unit.
This product is a Proprietary IP telephone which requires a Proprietary VoIP PBX telephone system to operate. This phone is not suitable for home use.

Overall assessment:
Mitel have always produced high quality IP phone products to go with their Mitel Unified Communicator Express, Mitel Collab Client, Mitel 3300, and other unified communications solutions.
The current portfolio includes the Mitel 5312 – the workhorse of the range aimed at technical assistant, everyday users, and managers. The 5312 can also be equally used by ACD agents when incorporated into the Mitel MiContact Center, and Mitel MiContact Center Office environments.
As ‘standard’ phones fair, the Mitel 5312 has more functionality than most of its rival brands and is priced very keenly. Overall a good value proposition that most It managers would have no hesitation but to roll out the Mitel 5312 to their users.
